7th ANNUAL CASH BASH 
Cash Bash, our school's major fundraiser, is next Friday, April 26th -- doors open at 5:30pm.  In addition to the silent and live auction, the event will feature music, a 'diamond dig', poker tables and a mechanical bull! 

Tickets must be purchased in advance; they will not be sold at the door. 

The deadline to purchase tickets is next Tuesday, April 23rd.

A few reminders:

--Tickets are $135. That includes dinner for two, 2 drink tickets and 1 entry into the grand prize drawing for $10,000.

--Tickets are available in the school office.

--We will only sell a total of 400 tickets
...that means a 1 in 400 chance of winning $10,000!!!

--Some reserved tables are still available.  Table for 8 is $500Table for 10 is $600

New Items
Parents: the Spirit Store is in need of a volunteer to work Tuesday lunches for next year.  Please call Jean Legaz at 672-2426 for more information. 

Basketball Jones will hold camp this summer in July and August. Visit their website for more information.  www.basketballjonescamps.com.

Seniors: The Charlie Swanson scholarship application is available in the college counseling office. They are due in the office by May 22.

The Latin American club scholarship is open to all graduating seniors going on to either a 2 or 4-year college.  Applications are in the college counseling office and are due by May 22.

All: Humboldt County Battle of the Bands will be held on May 30.  To enter the contest please call 476-1632.


Junior and Senior Athletes: Please see Coach White or Ms. Pretzel about the NCAA Clearinghouse. 

Parents: There will not be an after-school program on Friday, April 26.

Financial Aid for 2013-14
Parents: the financial aid deadline for returning students is Wednesday May 15th.  In order to apply for financial aid for next school year, please go to factstuitionaid.com and click "Applicant Sign In."  This new online process is replacing our old paper application.  If you have any questions, please contact Shirley Sobol or David Sharp.

Notices and Fundraisers

All fundraisers, publicity, posters, flyers, etc. must be pre-approved by the Dean of Students, Mr. White. Activity/Facility Use Forms are available in the office. Posters and fliers must be signed prior to hanging on school grounds.

Crusader Discount Cards are now for sale. New vendors this year include Rita’s and Los Bagels. Cards are being sold by the Softball and Baseball players and funds benefit both the softball and baseball programs. Catch up with your favorite softball or baseball player to purchase.

Please turn in your Boxtops and Campbell Soup Labels. These programs earn money and supplies for St. Bernard’s. For a complete list of products you can log on to www.boxtops4education.com and www.labels4education.com. These can be turned into the office.

Attention Renner card holders, did you know you can pay your Renner bill in the HS office, and the school earns 2.5%? Just make your checks out to SBCS and turn it in at the office along with your bill stub. We send Renner a check minus our percentage and earn money for our school. Haven't got a Renner card? Applications are in the HS office. Thanks for your support. Please turn in the bills by the 19th of each month.

All school events, meetings, and fundraisers must have proper forms filled out and signed by the appropriate departments. Activity forms are available in the front office.
