· Students must attend all of their scheduled classes for at least 45 minutes, even if they do not have finals.
· Junior High students must remain in class the entire exam period.
· High School students may leave campus when they are dismissed from their exam periods.
· Students will not be admitted 10 minutes after exam period commences.

New Items
Seniors: Graduation practice will be held Thursday at 130 at Sacred Heart Church. This is a mandatory practice for all graduates.

8th grade Mass will be held Thursday, June 6 at 10am in St. Joseph Church; Graduation at 6pm at St. Bernard Church.

High School Graduation Mass will be held Friday, June 7, 10am in St. Joseph Church; Graduation will be held at Sacred Heart Church at 4pm.

Found:  One Crusader Medal, Friday, 31May.  Check with Mr. Brown.

Parents: the enrollment comittee  is looking for volunteers to join their relay for life team. Interested please contact Corrina Pope cpope@saintbernards.us or 616-4636. Event is July 13. Come honor Mrs. Franklin or anyone else close to your heart.

Enrollment committee meeting will be held Monday, June 3 at 4pm in the library.

Safe and Sober volunteers are needed. Faculty, parents, grandparents, anyone and everyone. Junior parents it is the tradition at SB that junior parents volunteer at Safe and Sober so when your child is a Senior you are free from that obligation on graduation night. Please contact Shari Borges at 496-9097 if you are available to help.

The High School Spring sports awards will be on June 3rd at 6pm.  The banquest will be pot luck (all of them have been this year).  Baseball  will be responsible for the entrees, JV baseball has drinks, softball will provide salad, and track and tennis will provide dessert. 

ALL: Road work will be in progress from May 20 through June 6 on the following streets: C Street, Lowell, Williams (all between Henderson and Grotto); temporary lane closures will occur on Henderson, Lowell and Grotto.
Elementary

All: there will not be after-school daycare the last week of school.

Basketball Jones will hold camp this summer in July and August. Visit their website for more information.  www.basketballjonescamps.com.

8th-12th: Beginning May 7th there will be volleyball open gym 6-8.  All 8th grades through high school  are welcome.

International Seniors: please pick up an I-20 transfer form in the college counseling office.

HS: Youth conservation corps applications are now available in the college counseling office for those who wish to intern with the State Parks this summer.

ALL: the sophomore class is selling crusader license plates. $3 each or 2 for $5. You can buy them in the office or from any sophomore class officer.

JH/HS:  Girls Basketball open gym every Monday after school.

Parents: the Spirit Store is in need of a volunteer to work Tuesday lunches for next year.  Please call Jean Legaz at 672-2426 for more information.

Just make your checks out to SBCS and turn it in at the office along with your bill stub. We send Renner a check minus our percentage and earn money for our school. Haven't got a Renner card? Applications are in the HS office. Thanks for your support. Please turn in the bills by the 19th of each month.

New Items

Move-up awards ceremony for high school will be held in the auditorium on Thursday, May 30 starting at 9am. Mass Dress is required. Juniors you may wear your new Senior Mass Dress. Seniors--let's make this an elegant ceremony (wear your Prom dresses, tuxes, suits, etc.)

Senior parent/guardians: you are invited to our annual Senior move-up celebration with a continental breakfast in the library 8-9am (this Thursday).

Seniors: there will be an all class meeting Tuesday (today) in room 101 at 1pm. We will be discussing move-up ceremony, graduation practice, Mass and graduation.  All seniors must attend.

New Items

All school bbq will be held this Thursday, May 23. 


On Thursday, May 23rd, we will be celebrating the end of the school year with an all-school BBQ!  At lunch, there will be a hot dog barbeque with chips, drinks, fruit and desserts.  In order to make this day a success, we need parent help! 
          
Each class should bring:
Preschool -  chips                                 
Kindergarten through 3rd grades - hot dogs 
4th through 6th grades - hot dog buns   
7th and 8th grades - drinks
Freshman - chips
Sophomore - fruit
Junior - dessert
Senior - dessert  

We also need a few parent volunteers who would be willing to help BBQ and prepare food.  Please return the bottom portion of this form if you are able to help.

We look forward to a great end-of-the-year BBQ with your amazing children!
