Student Government: There will be a meeting for all class officers and ASB officers on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 7:30am in room 101.

HS: Last Chance to Guarantee a Yearbook! High School Yearbooks are on sale for $85. This is the last opportunity to make sure you get your yearbook. You can order your yearbook online at www.jostensyearbooks.com or pick up an order form in the office or on Teacherease in Digital Lockers. Deadline is January 25, 2013. YOU'RE IN IT!

ALL: There will be no afterschool care on Friday, Dec. 21.

Parents: Please do not double park on Dollison or C streets to drop off or pick up students.

ALL: Congratulations Scrip purchasers. Since August we have earned $2,245.89 in profit!  Don't forget, we have many local merchants who participate in the Scrip program and it makes great stocking stuffers.



Elementary
ALL: Student Body cards are now available for free! But, to receive free admission to school sporting events, discounts to dances, and other upcoming events, purchase an ASB sticker in the office.  $15 gets you into sporting events for free!  $10 for grades 5-8

High School
HS:  The freshmen class will be selling baked goods at break and lunch on Mondays and Thursdays in the auditorium all December.

HS:  Cheer will be selling donuts at break in the auditorium on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays all December.

HS: Yearbook Senior Pages - Packets and payment are due December 21. All seniors who signed up for a senior page received a packet. Attached is an order form, in case you lost your packet.

HS: Winter Break Pictures - Yearbook wants your winter break pictures! Get ready to take pictures over break and send us one or two digital photos! Email them to ybkphoto2@saintbernards.us and be sure to tell us what's happening in the picture.

Notices and Fundraisers

All fundraisers, publicity, posters, flyers, etc. must be pre-approved by the Dean of Students, Mr. White. Activity/Facility Use Forms are available in the office. Posters and fliers must be signed prior to hanging on school grounds.


8th grade fundraisers:

"Cookies in a Jar"  8th graders are selling all the dry ingredients measured with directions for baking in a beautifully decorated jar to give as gifts. Order forms are in the office. Questions please call Carolyn Barnhart at 845-0606.  Great idea for Christmas gifts. $10 each.
Parents Night Out--Fridays, December 14 and 21, 5:30-9:30pm.  Drop your children off while you go out on a date, go Christmas shopping or attend a Christmas party! Child care provided by the 8th grade students and supervised by parents. Ages: Pk through elementary. $20 per child. Games, arts & crafts, movie and lot of fun. Dinner, drink and snack provided. Reserve your child's spot by  calling Carolyn Barnhart at 845-

Christmas Candy Grams!  Tasty grams tied up with a candy cane for only $5. Order one for all your friends, family and teachers. Order forms are in the office.

ALL: Crusader and Knight cinch sacks are for sale $7 each. Makes an excellent stocking stuffer. See Mrs. Giacone for more info.

Please turn in your Boxtops and Campbell Soup Labels. These programs earn money and supplies for St. Bernard’s. For a complete list of products you can log on to www.boxtops4education.com and www.labels4education.com. These can be turned into the office.

Attention Renner card holders, did you know you can pay your Renner bill in the HS office, and the school earns 2.5%? Just make your checks out to SBCS and turn it in at the office along with your bill stub. We send Renner a check minus our percentage and earn money for our school. Haven't got a Renner card? Applications are in the HS office. Thanks for your support. Please turn in the bills by the 19th of each month.

Reminders

Seniors: there will be a class meeting Tuesday, Dec. 11 in room 101 at 1pm with Mr. Sharp. We will be talking about graduation and voting on senior sweatshirt design. All seniors must attend

ALL:   The Elementary/JH Christmas Concert is this Wednesday, December 12th in the Auditorium.  Doors open at 6:00 - come early to view the student art exhibition and enjoy holiday treats being sold by the PTO.  The concert will begin at 7pm.  

ELEM/JH:  Christmas Concert Student Dress and Arrival Reminder – Students must arrive by 6:30.  Dress: (girls) White blouse, black skirt, black tights, red accessory; (boys) White shirt, black pants, black socks and shoes, red accessory.

ALL: The PTO is looking for volunteers to help decorate the auditorium and bake goodies for the Christmas Concert.  If you would like to help out, please contact Sarah Shanahan (shanahan99@me.com,  499-7136)

Christmas Eve Children's Mass
Would you like to take part in telling the story of the birth of our Savior? Practice for the Christmas Eve children's mass will take place on Saturday at 11:00 at St. Bernard Church beginning on 12/8. Children of all ages are welcome. We need readers, and parts include: Mary, Joseph, Angels, Wise Men, Shepherds, and an Innkeeper. Questions? Contact Amanda 601-8585.
